Children and Babies
The Hawthorn Drive Surgery offers advice, up-to-date information and parent-to-parent support.
Children under 5
All babies will be sent an appointment with the Doctor for a check between 6/8 weeks. The health Visitor performs other developmental checks and refers on if there are any concerns.
We recommend that all children should be fully immunised against diphtheria, whooping cough, polio, tetanus and hib, measles. mumps and rubella, meningococcal C and pneumococcal.
